Hallooooo, I’m Elanri, the Residence Executive at Burgers Park Student Hotel. My role is to oversee the entire operation—from the day-to-day running of the building to the long-term vision of what this space means to our students and our team. I work closely with every department, every person, and every process to ensure that our residence functions not just efficiently, but meaningfully.
I often say, “The buck stops with me” especially when the 💩 hits the fan —and I mean it. When something goes wrong, I take full responsibility. When things go right, I share the rewards with the incredible team that makes it happen. I lead with heart, purpose, and a fierce belief in creating an environment that doesn’t just house students, but supports them, challenges them, and helps them grow.
To me, this isn’t just a job. It’s a calling. I care deeply about our students’ well-being, their academic journeys, and the memories they build within these walls. I also care about our staff—about building a team culture that’s grounded in respect, empowerment, and shared pride in the work we do.
